Tanner | Wrightwood

I have been passing these rocks for as long as I can remember. They have inspired and bewildered me ever since I was young. Going to the Art Institute of California- Orange County, I finally have the technique to be able to photograph them. They are located off of the 15 Freeway in the Cajon Pass in Wrightwood. Going on this adventure I decided to take Tanner to the rocks. Almost there, getting to the bottom of the Cajon Pass we hit traffic. Tanner check how long it was going to take and he said, "I hope your ready to sit in traffic or an hour, or I can get you there another way." So we got off the freeway and went up the Lytle Creek. Driving through this beautiful canyon, which I'm going back to photograph in sometime soon! He tells me to turn and we go up this road and then he tells me to turn again but this time its onto a dirt road. I drive a little Audi A3 and it was her first time "off roading" she did a pretty good job if I do say so myself. We also had my assistant for the day with us Teddy, my little dog and he didn't like the dirt road going over the mountain to much. It probably took us just as long going the way we went, but it was so much more fun and it gave me more inspiration that I would have gotten on that freeway stuck in traffic.
